GFL Trash & Recycle Update

With a rather bumpy & inconsistent effort by the city’s new trash hauler GFL, whose failure to regularly remove trash from multiple areas within the Fairfield Neighborhood through late spring & the start of summer, resulted in some residents creating colorful euphemistic alternatives as to the meaning of GFL, thanks to the tag-team efforts of several residents and the Fairfield Neighborhood Association, it does appear, at least for the time-being, residents should expect to see a return to regular & timely removal of trash and recycling.
